«Большая тройка» сотовых операторов предлагает ограничить действие IP-телефонии в РФ. Они объясняют это тем, что голосовая связь неподконтрольна для прослушивания силовиками. Но истинная причина — борьба за деньги IP-телефонии.
На что сразуже появилось куча коментариев разной степени злобы. От легкой сатиры:

Промелькнула новость о воскрешении очень давней идеи.
В России могут ввести пожизненные номера сотовых телефонов. Минкомсвязи вернулось к обсуждению вопроса о переносимости номеров в России. В ближайшее время в Татарии может быть создана первая опытная зона для отработки использования технологий, позволяющих сохранять мобильный номер при смене оператора
Когдато давным давно (лет 10-5 назад) иногда даже меня посещала мысль сменить сотового оператора. Обычно это случалось после просмотра очередной рекламы о 0.0 центов в минут, которая почемуто всегда была от другого оператора. Но тутже высокой стеной вставала мысль о том что это будет другой номер и все сотни контактов собранных за последние годы прервутся. Либо придется поработать над их уведомлением либо оставить старый номер и платить минимум за его поддержание.
Но время идет и вот уже под конец первого десятилетия 21 века, мысль о том что мне нужен именно тот старый номер для поддержания контактов уже не стоит да и разница между операторами почти исчезла.
Сейчас моя социальная сеть связана огромным количеством различнейших протоколов. Это и емейлы( сколько же их у меня всего) и аккаунты в различных мессанджерах и форумах и аккаунты во многих популярных сетях веб 2.0. даже несколько доменных имен. Когдато это был лишь почтовый адрес. Потом добавился телефон проводной и позже мобильный. Потом все неимоверно ускорилось и некоторые из нас имеют сотни аккаунтов.
Этот тренд уже не может идти дальше. Появляются первые ростки сервисов по консолидации всех аккаунтов в один. Это и openID и Live pasport и YahooID. Они пока не сильно уменьшили колличество моих аккаунтов но это начало нового тренда.
Спасибо Минкомсвязи за заботу о желающих сохранить номер мобильника пожизненно, но лучше бы они помогли с интернетизацией которая сделает номер мобильно устаревшей ненужной технологией.

Economic historians have discovered since the 1960s that the average participant in the British economy in 2000 was fifteen times better supplied with food and clothing and housing and education than her remote ancestors. If ones ancestors lived in Finland, the factor is more like 29, the average Finn in 1700 being not a great deal better off in material terms than the average African at the time. If ones ancestors lived in the Netherlands it is only a factor of 10 or so, since in 1700 the Netherlands was the richest (and the most free and bourgeois) country in the world, 70 percent better off than the soon-to-be United Kingdom. If in Japan, the factor since 1700 is fully 35. 2 If South Korea, the factor merely in the past half-century, since 1953, when income per head, despite access to some modern technology, was about what it had been in Europe 450 years before, is almost 18, crammed into a four decades instead of, as in the British case, stretched out over two centuries.

A number of behavioural studies have already shown that emotions can have an effect on perception. When, for example, observers are asked to selectively pay attention to a target at the centre of the visual field while ignoring surrounding “distractor” objects, the prior induction of a positive emotional state leads to more interference from the surrounding objects than does induction of a negative mood. That is the time–emotion paradox: why given that we possess a sophisticated time measurement mechanism, are we so inaccurate in our temporal judgements when experiencing emotions?
One more example of this. People believe that when we deal with physical attraction, we see somebody, and we know immediately whether we like them or not. Attracted or not. Which is why we have these four-minute dates. So I decided to do this experiment with people. I’ll show you graphic images of people — not real people. The experiment was with people. I showed some people a picture of Tom, and a picture of Jerry. I said “Who do you want to date? Tom or Jerry?” But for half the people I added an ugly version of Jerry. I took Photoshop and I made Jerry slightly less attractive. (Laughter) The other people, I added an ugly version of Tom. And the question was, will ugly Jerry and ugly Tom help their respective, more attractive brothers? The answer was…

Top 10 Malware Sites what can make your computer or your bank account ill. Google not only scan web for all sorts of textual information. It can recognize sites with a content of some specific sort.
Our automated systems found more than 4,000 different sites that appeared to be set up for distributing malware by massively compromising popular web sites. Of these domains more than 1,400 were hosted in the .cn TLD. Several contained plays on the name of Google such as goooogleadsence.biz, etc.
Other malware researchers reported widespread compromises pointing to the domains gumblar.cn and martuz.cn, both of which made it on our top-10 list. For gumblar, we saw about 60,000 compromised sites; Martuz peaked at slightly over 35,000 sites. Beladen.net was also reported to be part of a mass compromise, but made it only to position 124 on the list with about 3,500 compromised sites.
